The Village at Cordata woodshop is a hidden gem. The building is in the RV lot at the southwest corner of the Village. It is equipped with electric heat, a restroom, utility sink, sanding room, painting room, compressed air, dust collection, and several work benches.

Stationary power saws include table saws, band saws, radial arm saw, compound miter saw, panel saw, and scroll saw. Drill presses, lathe, planer, jointer, router table, several types of sanders, and a grinder complete the stationary power tool list.

There is an assortment of common electric or air powered portable tools. The collection of hand tools, clamps, router accessories, and related items is unequaled.

Wheelbarrows and other yard tools are available. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and craft tools are also available.

Sale of aluminum cans collected by residents provide funds for the shop. Present and former residents have donated tools and supplies beyond measure
